Dr. Shridharani works closely with a select group of health care providers in the area and Dr. Sheryl Clark is one of those trusted providers that Dr. Shridharani feels would offer excellent service to his patients.

Dr. Sheryl Clark’s mission is to provide only the best, safest, and most effective treatments available in aesthetic and preventative dermatology. Her treatment algorithms derive from peer-reviewed scientific research and more than 25 years of practice experience. Dr. Clark served as a full-time professor at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell before founding The Center for Aesthetic and Preventative Dermatology. She continues to serve on a voluntary basis as Clinical Assistant Professor at Cornell University Medical College and Assistant Attending Physician at The New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she trains medical professionals in the art and science of dermatology.

Dr. Clark is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies, a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the New York Academy of Medicine. She is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Procedural Dermatology. She has been the official spokesperson regarding dermatologic matters for The New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical Center, and has appeared on a variety of media programs including televised news programs (such as “Good Morning America”), on CNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS, and on radio programs such as WOR and “A Closer Look” on National Public Radio (NPR). She has been consulted as a medical resource for numerous books, health and beauty magazines and newspaper publications, including Elle, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Dr. Oz The Good Life, Prevention, and The New York Post, and organizations such as The American Medical Women’s Association, Johnson and Johnson, and Allergan.

Dr. Clark fulfilled her lifelong interest in wellness care and preventative medicine by creating a practice grounded in the tenets of traditional medicine and enhanced by those of integrative functional medicine, and founding the Center for Aesthetic and Preventative Dermatology. Her approach to patient care considers the impact of lifestyle and life stage on health, vitality, and beauty. She has developed specific functional dermatology approaches to diagnose and treat skin disorders and optimize skin health and beauty, at any age.

Dr. Clark’s approach is unique in the practice of dermatology in its attention to detail. She specializes in providing treatments that have been proven to be safe and without serious side effects, to improve your health, and to be affordable. She has developed specific and unique protocols to minimize bruising, swelling, and discomfort during and after cosmetic treatments. Her practice offers nonsurgical treatments to complement those of Dr. Shridharani, such as CoolSculpting, laser, radiofrequency, focused ultrasound, microneedling, peels and microdermabrasion. These devices create lasting improvements in acne and acne scarring, stretch marks, brown spots, blood vessels of face or legs, skin tone and pores, skin laxity, and localized areas of excess fat.
