60 year old female presented to Dr. Shridharani’s plastic surgery practice, LUXURGERY, in NYC with the desire to improve the appearance of her upper and lower eyelids. She was hoping to achieve a more youthful, rejuvenated and refreshed appearance without changing the shape of her eyes. She elected to undergo lower blepharoplasty (transconjuctival approach-no external visible scar), upper blepharoplasty and laser resurfacing to face and décolleté for improved skin quality, tone and texture. She requested the incisions for lower blepharoplasty to be placed on the underside of the eyelids so there would be no external scar. She is pictured here 1 week prior to surgery and 3 months after her procedure. She is extremely pleased with the surgical outcome and notices a remarkable difference in the appearance of her eyes. Her friends can’t tell what she had done, but just that she looks “so fresh” and “not tired.”
