Another UMKC medical school student, Dr. Sachin Shridharani, investigated various lifestyle specialties and also considered training in internal medicine like his father, a cardiologist in Warrensburg.Ultimately, though, Dr. Shridharani opted for the long hours and high intensity associated with reconstructive plastic surgery.
Dr. Shridharani, a 4.0 student, was matched with Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he will fill one of only 88 plastic surgery residency spots in the nation for students fresh out of medical school.
