Vollure/Volift in New York City with Dr. Shridharani

What is Vollure/Volift?

Vollure/Volift is the newest addition to Allergan’s next-generation dermal filler range, which falls within the Juvederm family. Vollure/Volift was developed using Vycross technology, which uses an innovative combination of low and high molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid (HA) to improve the cross-linking efficiency of HA chains. This more effective cross-linking allows for a lower concentration of HA’s to be used, delivering an ultra-smooth gel for a natural look and feel, minimal swelling and bruising, as well as improved duration. Dr. Shridharani is excited for the product to become available in the United States in the upcoming months and plans to begin injecting this product safely in his patients in New York City.

What area do you recommend Juvederm Vollure/Volift injections?

Juvederm Vollure/Volift with lidocaine delivers a natural look and feel and is excellent for smoothing nasolabial folds. Over time, the natural ageing process can impact the cheeks, chin and jawline. Hallmarks of this process are: loss of volume or definition and the appearance of wrinkles. Juvederm Vollure/Volift with lidocaine is designed to smooth deep creases for a refreshed look, as well as gently restoring natural-looking contour in the lower face.

How long does Juvederm Vollure/Volift last?

Juvederm Vollure/Volift with lidocaine provides a new treatment option estimated to deliver smooth, long-lasting results and has an estimated duration of 15 months.

Are Juvederm Vollure/Volift injections painful?

Juvederm Vollure/Volift with lidocaine provides a versatile treatment option for patients who are looking for a discreet, natural look with minimal swelling and long-lasting results. Lidocaine is an added anesthetic for improved comfort. Basically, you will feel a tiny bee sting at the beginning and the area goes numb.

Does Dr. Shridharani have exposure to Vollure/Volift?

Juvederm Vollure/Volift FAQ’s

Q: What is Vycross Technology?
Vollure/Volift incorporates Allergan’s trademarked Vycross technology. There are a lot of technicalities that go into Vycross products (Juvederm Voluma, Volbella, and on the horizon…Volift), but the gist is Vycross technology relates to the molecular structure and how the HA molecules are cross-linked. While most HA fillers are formulated with a 100% high-molecular- weight Hyaluronic Acid, the fillers in the Vycross Collection are all formulated with just 10% high-molecular- weight HA and 90% low- molecular-weight HA.
